By accessing or using Sight8 AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using Sight8 AI on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Sight8 AI is an AI visibility analytics platform that helps website owners understand how large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and others mention, rank, and represent their websites and brands in AI-generated responses.

Some features of the Service store profile information locally in your browser. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser data.

If you embed the Sight8 AI tracking snippet (tracker.js) on your website, you agree to:
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the tracking snippet complies with the laws applicable to your website and its visitors. Sight8 AI is the data processor; you are the data controller for analytics data collected on your site.
The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, text, and graphics, is owned by Sight8 AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service (such as domain names you analyse). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
LLM response data surfaced by the Service is derived from publicly accessible AI systems. We make no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of that data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.
AI visibility data is inherently variable. LLM outputs change frequently based on model updates, training data changes, and query phrasing. Sight8 AI provides a snapshot in time and should be used as one input among many in your marketing and SEO strategy — not as a definitive source of truth.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sight8 AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) NZD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sight8 AI and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination include but are not limited to violation of these Terms or behaviour that we determine is harmful to other users or the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. To request deletion of any server-side data we hold, contact us at hello@onsight.ai.
Sections 7, 8, 9, and 10 survive any termination of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
If you are located outside New Zealand, you consent to the transfer of your information to New Zealand and acknowledge that your use of the Service is subject to New Zealand law.
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may also provide additional notice through the dashboard.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
